Crealllo website design
Crealllo is a free, community-driven platform built for designers—by designers. It's a place where creativity, learning, and connection flourish together through collaboration and shared passion.
Crealllo needed a central website to welcome new members and showcase its events and activities. This hub would make onboarding easier and highlight the community’s impact beyond social platforms.
As Crealllo grew, most interactions happened across chat groups and social platforms, making it difficult for newcomers to understand the community’s mission and ongoing activities. Without a central hub, the community struggled to tell its story, highlight events, and onboard new members effectively.
To define the direction for Crealllo’s website, I studied similar design communities and how they presented themselves online. This included exploring their onboarding flows, event showcases, and resource hubs. From this, I identified common gaps, such as overly complex navigation or lack of a clear value proposition, and focused on improving these areas to create a more welcoming, engaging, and user-friendly experience for Crealllo.
I designed a central website that gives Crealllo a clear identity, makes onboarding simple, and highlights the community’s events and activities. The site serves as a hub where new members can understand what Crealllo is about, while existing members can stay updated and engaged
The website gave Crealllo a central home to share its story and streamline growth. Since launch, onboarding has become more efficient, with over 70 new members joining in the first six months directly through the site. Event visibility also improved, leading to a 40% increase in participation compared to previous sessions promoted only through chat groups. The platform now stands as both a welcoming front door for newcomers and a living archive of the community’s activities.
